The Alan Watts Organization · est. 1962
Courses to take, recordings to collect, films to watch, and a life you can walk, from 1915 to now. Everything he made, and everything we are still making, in one place.

A foremost interpreter of Eastern thought for the West, and the organization that keeps his voice alive.
A British philosopher who gave the ideas of the East a Western language, on the radio, in print, and in a voice that has never stopped travelling. One of the first to reach a wide Western audience, through his radio talks of the 1950s and The Way of Zen in 1957, he wrote more than twenty books and gave thousands of talks before his death in 1973.
The Alan Watts Organization keeps that voice alive: it publishes the courses, safeguards the recordings, tells the story, and restores the films. This page is the door to it all.
